By accessing or using Open Animate's website, CLI tools, APIs, hosted platform, and related services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
Open Animate provides an open-source creative toolkit for AI agents, including a CLI, component library, media generation gateway, and optional hosted cloud rendering. The open-source packages are licensed under Apache 2.0. The hosted platform is a separate commercial service.
Certain features require an account. You must provide accurate information, maintain the security of your credentials, and accept responsibility for all activity under your account. API keys must not be shared with unauthorized third parties.
You retain ownership of content you create using the Services. By using the hosted platform, you grant Open Animate a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide license to process your content solely as necessary to provide the Services. We do not use your content to train models.
You agree not to:
Paid features are billed in advance on a subscription or credit basis. Fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice.
The open-source packages are licensed under Apache 2.0. All other intellectual property — including the Open Animate name, logo, hosted platform, and documentation — remains the property of Open Animate.
The Services integrate with third-party providers (e.g., fal.ai for media generation). Your use of these integrations is subject to those providers' terms. We are not responsible for third-party service availability or content.
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OPEN ANIMATE'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SERVICES IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR $100, WHICHEVER IS GREATER.
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Services at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict of law principles.
